Fix the home medical and caregiver program provided by the Ministry of the Aid (VA) to vote to pass the bill to deal with it.
Highlights:
Correct and deal with home care and caregiver programs provided by the retirement and soldiers (VA) (Title I ~ VI, section 101-404).
In this bill, the cost of providing non -facility alternative means to replace the nursing home nursing care, unless the higher cost is the benefit of a veteran, has been cared for a retirement carrier. It stipulates that it must not exceed the costs that will occur in the case. Veterans (Title I -VI, section 101-404).
Under the current law, it is stipulated that these expenditures are limited to 65% of costs (paragraph 2).
Requests the following to VA (Title I -VI, section 101-404).
Establish a partnership with a comprehensive care program for the elderly in a specific area to provide alternatives outside the facility care.
Conduct a variety of programs (such as retirement care programs) to expand their access to home and regional -based services.
Provide certain support and benefits to a veteran caregiver with a particular disability.
Conduct a trial program to provide housewives and home medical assistance services to veterans living in areas where home medical assistants are in short supply. and
Make the U.S. indigenous enrolled services at home and local -based services.
We are obliged for veterans or family caregivers to provide individual transition to appropriate programs to veterans or family caregivers who have been discouraged from a comprehensive support program for family caregivers (Title I ~ VI, VI). Section 101-404).
To ensure the consistency of program management to the Veterans Health Bureau, eliminate service gaps at the medical center level, and ensure the use and access of home and local -based services, the Elderly Elderly Extension Care Bureau Mandy to review the programs managed through (Title V), section 501-503).
