Fans of “Gilligan Island” may be familiar with the pilot of the show taken in 1963, but was not broadcasted until 1992. Natalie Shafer (Giligan, Skipper, Hower, Mrs. Howel, etc.) also starring three rudimentary characters that did not bring to the completed series. The professor was originally a high school teacher played by John Gabriel.
