A video surfaces online of Doncaster Rovers and Grimsby Town fans in a rather laughably pathetic scrap on Saturday afternoon.
Football Fights (footbalIfights) uploaded the 32 second clip on Sunday morning, with it recorded outside The Mallard Pub Restaurant in Frenchgate Shopping Centre nearby the train station.
The Twitter account wrote: “Doncaster and Grimsby fans clashing yesterday”, yet if anything, it looked more like the dancing scene from The Inbetweeners Movie, bouncing from side to side.

It was a miserable day for both sides, as they fell to defeats. Bradford claimed their third win in four games with an impressive performance over fellow play-off chasers Grimsby. Meanwhile for Port Vale, they ended their eight-match winless League Two run with a 2-1 victory over promotion rivals Doncaster.
Doncaster boss Grant McCann said, per Doncaster Free Press: “I thought we were on top for the majority of the game. But we’ve given them two opportunities and they’ve taken them. We can do better because we gamble for their first goal and don’t recover quick enough. We don’t pick up people in the box and space doesn’t score goals, but we mark space not players.
“The second one is similar really. We don’t track the run and we don’t pick the guy up. The response from the group after that was positive and strong and we scored a really good goal. But first half we were on top. Their goalkeeper has made a world class save from Billy (Sharp). How he’s shifted his body shape to save it – fair play.
“But I’m just really frustrated at the two goals we conceded. They are really poor from our point of view. I’ve just watched them back (video) and I’m even more annoyed.”
Port Vale’s Darren Moore said: “It’s been a hard couple of months but if you are going to get back on to a streak, you have to get that win from somewhere.
“Let’s hope this win is the first one. I think this really optimises the team and it was a performance that we built on from the Cheltenham game.
“We’ve come away to a difficult place and put in a strong performance.
“Hopefully when we pick the bones out of the game, it’ll stand us in good stead for the tough week ahead and prepare us for another important game.
“It was always going to be hard fought and if we were going to get the win, we would have to earn it. Ben Amos pulled a wonderful save off at 0-0 and if that had gone in, it could easily have been a different game.”
Bradford boss Graham Alexander said, per Yorkshire Post: “I thought the team were excellent. We started in really aggressive fashion and were pressing all over the pitch.
“There was a good structure about ourselves and we were really incisive in those attacking moments.
“It took us 43 minutes to get that opening goal but it was really well worked.
“We had a strong end product today and to get that goal was rewarding for the players. We wanted to keep our foot on the floor, which we did with the penalty.
We just opened that door a little bit for them when they scored their corner. It’s a great header from the lad but it just brought the game back into the balance a little bit.
“But the players stepped up to their credit and took the game by the scruff of the neck again. We needed that third goal to give us that bit of composure and it was a brilliant performance all round.”
Grimsby boss David Artell said, per Grimsby Live: “The better team won. It was a game too much for a few of our lads. We had one or two crucial injuries that impacted that. We felt we were a bit short in certain areas and didn’t do ourselves justice.
“When you add all that in, it ends up in a performance where you get what you deserve. Jordan made some good saves, but the lads around him should have done better. We didn’t do much right.
“We contrived to lose a game we should have won comfortably at Accrington. But today, we deserved to get beaten, and I’ll say it as it is. The timing of the first two goals was criminal. We conceded just before half-time and just after, and that five minutes kills us.
“Four games in nine days is too much. It’s the same for all the teams, but when you have the injuries we have, it makes it difficult for a squad like ours when only a few have played through a Christmas period like this before.
“It proved to be too much here; we looked off it, and we didn’t use the ball well enough to counter that. We put too many long balls onto their centre-halves’ heads, and they outnumbered us in midfield, so every time we shelled it forward, they picked up most of the second balls.
“We knew they would have a box midfield, and we wanted to get around the outside of that, but we didn’t. Every time we passed it into the middle, we tried to flick it forward, but we didn’t take enough care of the ball, so we got what we deserved.
“We’ll just have to remind the players of what we’re trying to do in possession while making sure we have a good shape out of possession so we don’t get countered on like we did on numerous occasions here.”
