Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya (known for his family-friendly films) is all set to bring a new-age love story to the big screen. After a string of successful collaborations with Salman Khan, Barjatya is now ready to introduce Ayushmann Khurrana as his new ‘Prem’ in an upcoming romantic film.

Triptii Dimri In Talks For Lead Role Opposite Ayushmann Khurrana

Sources reveal to BOW that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actress Triptii Dimri is in talks to play the female lead in this much-anticipated film.

According to our sources, the actress has shown a keen interest in the role and is currently discussing the character and her schedule. However, things are still in the early stages, and no final decisions have been made yet.

If the casting is confirmed, this will mark the first-time pairing of Triptii and Ayushmann on screen, offering fans a fresh and exciting duo to look forward to.

More About This Upcoming Film

According to previous media reports, the film is expected to be deeply rooted in Indian culture, combining traditional family values with a modern twist. As previously reported, the yet-to-be-titled project will go on floors in Summer 2025.

Sources close to the production shared that Ayushmann Khurrana and Sooraj Barjatya have already clicked creatively, and now Barjatya is focusing on finalising the female lead.

Once the lead pair is locked in, the casting process will move forward, with Barjatya aiming to build a star-studded ensemble cast. As with his past films, the movie is expected to feature a large cast, but Ayushmann and the female lead will undoubtedly steal the spotlight.

Triptii Dimri: Work Front

For those who may not know, Triptii Dimri is currently shooting for Arjun Ustara under Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner and has several exciting projects lined up. She is also working on Dhadak 2, starring alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, and has an untitled project with Madhuri Dixit.
