Travis Kelsey’s role in the upcoming “Happy Gilmore” sequel has been revealed as Adam Sandler shared a trailer for the film on Wednesday.
The film is a follow-up to the classic 1996 comedy film and is scheduled to be released on Netflix in 2025.
And the first look at Kelsey’s character was shared on Christmas Day, with the Chiefs tight end appearing in a trailer alongside music star Bad Bunny and “Modern Family” actress Julie Bowen.
Kelce, who appears to be assuming the role of a hotel or country club employee, is seen greeting Sandler’s character in a vest and tie.
“It’s good to see you again, Mr. Gilmore,” he said.
Bad Bunny also appears in the 34-second clip, where he is seen playing the role of Gilmore’s caddy on the golf course.

Kelsey also served as an executive producer on the film “My Dead Friend Zoe.”
The original film, which grossed $41.2 million at the box office, details the hilarious story of a failed hockey player turned golfer with anger management issues.
Sandler appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in August and seemed excited to have Kelsey on board with the project.
“I’ve got something good for Travis,” he began, via the New York Post. “He’s going to come. He’s such a nice guy…what a big, handsome guy. He’s so funny and cool. He’s a stud and he’s so funny.”
Kelsea, who has of course been dating Taylor Swift since last year, has ventured into the world of entertainment several times.
He appeared on the show “Grotesquerie” and also hosted “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” For Prime Video.
The 35-year-old also served as an executive producer on the dark comedy film My Dead Friend Zoe, which recently premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival.
The film won the festival’s Grand Jury Award for Best Feature Narrative in October, Deadline reported.
According to IMDb, the film features “a female Afghan veteran who develops a mysterious relationship with her late best friend from her Army days” and “a woman with a Vietnam veteran grandfather at her family’s ancestral lake house.” A scene of “confrontation” is depicted.
Kelce’s Chiefs will face the Steelers in an AFC game this Christmas.
