Each edition also explores the impact that humans have had on their ecology — good or bad. During the opening episode, Pádraig Mac an tSaoir offers his views on the links between the lakes and faith and folklore, from legendary warrior/hunter Fionn Mac Cumhaill to the Nine Years’ War and fishermen’s blessings.
