Best Buy generally doesn’t stop its end-of-year sales just because Christmas Eve is approaching. In fact, some would argue that the situation is tougher than some other stores. In addition to the 48-hour flash sale, December 23rd will be packed with a few of the day’s best buy drops, usually just one drop per day. . Two are digital gift cards (Uber and Nintendo). Use when giving a gift and you can’t easily tell the recipient that the gift will be delayed.
If you haven’t taken advantage of Best Buy Drops savings yet, you’ll want to know this shopping hack for the new year. The (Drops) tab in the top right corner of the Best Buy mobile app displays the latest list of items that Best Buy is dropping for the week. A “drop” often means lowering the price to a record low sale price that matches (or exceeds) Amazon’s price history, but a drop is a drop that has not been previously launched. It may also be an exclusive release of the item. Drops is known for featuring hot items that capture search interest throughout the year, from Samsung TVs, Roomba, Apple products, and Shark FlexStyle.

As the title alludes, Drops is timed. This tab provides a preview of which items will go on sale on which days of the week, so shoppers can see when each item goes live (usually at 11 a.m. ET on the assigned day) You are ready to click “Add to Cart”. Once the Drop is published, the app will continually update the status bar showing the percentage of inventory requested. Once a particular drop is out of stock, that drop will be gone.
However, the drop schedule for special multi-drop days is a little looser. On December 23rd, there will be one drop before 11am (already sold out), one at 11am, and several drops scheduled for unspecified times after 11am ( As the drop time approaches within 30 minutes, a countdown will appear next to each item.) We will update this list throughout the day on December 23rd to see the prices of the items on sale.
