Liverpool can further consolidate their lead at the top of the table with a win against Manchester United at Anfield this afternoon.
Reds manager Arne Slott made just one change from the side that beat West Ham 5-0 last time out, with Ibrahima Konate well on his way back from injury. The Frenchman will replace Joe Gomez and start alongside Virgil van Dijk in the back four.
Andrew Robertson will continue to play at left-back for Liverpool, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is lined up at right-back, where there has been speculation over his future at the club. Liverpool have Ryan Gravenbirch and Alexis McAllister starting in midfield, with Curtis Jones also starting while Dominik Szoboszlai is absent due to illness.
Mohamed Salah will continue his sensational season with the Egyptian international starting on the right wing once again. Luis Dias has maintained his position on the left wing after scoring the opening goal against West Ham, while Codi Gakpo has also maintained his position up front, ahead of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota.
As for Manchester United, Andre Onana once again started in goal, with Nousser Mazraoui and Diogo Daro occupying the wing-back positions. The back three consists of Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Magley and Lisandro Martinez.
Coby Mainu will start in midfield, with Manuel Ugarte joining him, meaning Casemiro and Christian Eriksen will have to settle for a place on the bench. Bruno Fernandes will start in the front three alongside Amad Diallo, with Rasmus Hojlund leading the line for Man United.
Joshua Zirkzee will start on the bench alongside Anthony and Garnacho, but there is no place for Marcus Rashford in today’s United squad.
