Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham, is reportedly set to reject offers from interested Premier League clubs including Manchester United.
United are thought to be keen to secure a midfield reinforcement for Ruben Amorim this month, or possibly during the summer transfer window, if funds are available.
A report in People’s Person last month claimed the Red Devils are looking to pounce on Job, who has had an incredible impact at Sunderland since joining for a modest £1.5 million in 2023. I told you.
The midfielder has already made 23 appearances this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists, playing a key role in the Black Cats’ bid for promotion to the Premier League.
United are monitoring Jobe’s progress and it is said he has made a positive impression on the club’s recruitment staff.
However, the Red Devils appear to be headed for disappointment and, just as his brother was in 2020, Jobe will also be looking to disrespect the Red Devils.
According to The Sun, Jobe plans to remain at the Stadium of Light this month despite praise from Arsenal and United.
The Sun added: “Despite there being significant interest in Jobe from English clubs, he is looking to follow in the footsteps of his brother and play more games at a higher level in Europe’s top ranks.” It appears that he may be aiming to join the club.”
Other clubs are thought to be keen on signing Jobe, including Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur and Jude’s former club Borussia Dortmund.
It is understood Sunderland want to retain their “biggest asset” to maximize their chances of climbing into the top flight.
The 19-year-old carries a price tag of £20m.
Meanwhile, United return to action on Sunday when they face Arsenal at the Emirates in the FA Cup third round.
