Dec. 20, 2024 marks the fifth anniversary of the creation of the Space Force. And with America’s youngest military service hitting kindergarten age, class was in session at this year’s Spacepower Conference.
The show, the second ever put on by the Space Force Association, has grown considerably since its first outing, gathering a host of senior military officials, including Chief of Space Operations Gen. Chance Saltzman and head of US Space Command Gen. Stephen Whiting.
