This week’s Recipe of the Week is from HealthbuddyAcadmey’s High Protein Recipe Pack and is super easy to prepare.
It requires no pre-prepared spice packs and is easily cooked over very low heat in a slow cooker on the stovetop or in a large pot.
What you need:
• 900g chicken
chest
• 4 bell peppers (sliced)
• 1 red onion (sliced)
• 2 tbsp. honey
• 1 tbsp. olive oil
• 1 lime, juice
• 1 tbsp. chili powder
• 1 tbsp. cumin
• 1 tbsp. paprika
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 cup chopped
tomato
What to do:
Place half of the sliced peppers and onion in the slaw
Rice cooker.
Layer the chicken, add honey, olive oil,
lime juice, all seasonings and chopped tomatoes.
Finally, add the remaining peppers and onions and stir.
4 hours at high speed.
Remove the chicken, shred it with a fork and put it back in.
Add to slow cooker, mix well and cook for another 10 minutes
Minutes. It’s low.
Assemble your fajitas and enjoy.
