Prince Alexander was the first child of HSH Karl Friedrich, Prince of Hohenzollern, and his first wife, Countess Alexandra Schenk von Stauffenberg. He and his wife, Michelle Vicentia Keith live in Sigmaringen. Michelle was born in Vorhees, New Jersey on August 14, 1986. The couple married in a civil ceremony in Sigmaringen on November 11, 2021.
This marriage was not approved by the Prince of Hohenzollern. Last fall, Alexander renounced for himself and his male descendants the right of succession for Head of the House of Hohenzollern.
Prince Karl Friedrich’s heir is his nephew, Prince Aloys of Hohenzollern.

This was not Alexander’s first pronouncement. In the final quarter of 2016, Alexander Friedrich Antonius Johannes von Hohenzollern renounced his U.S. citizenship. He was born in New York City on March 16, 1987.
