If hotel walls could talk, stories of EDM royalty would echo through every corner of Miami’s Merlin Hotel.
In 2013, Avicii famously transformed a South Beach boutique property into a living temple to his music and brand during Miami Music Week. Now, two special relics of that historic acquisition – a duffel bag and a bathrobe given only to VIP guests at the time – have been put up for auction online.
Nearly 12 years ago, the late dance music icon Merlin was transformed into the Avicii Hotel, a 16-room fan experience catering to the VIPs and die-hard fans flocking to Miami for the Ultra Music Festival. The luxurious experience included rooms named after his biggest hits, personalized welcome notes, Avicii-themed cocktails, and even branded toiletries.
Among the most popular items at this special event were limited edition duffel bags and bathrobes provided to hotel guests.

Each bag and robe, each featuring bespoke Avicii branding, is designed as a stylish yet functional keepsake, unmistakably embodying the artist’s signature aesthetic. With only 16 rooms available, the exact number of these items produced is unknown, but it’s safe to say that their rarity adds to their mystique.
The sale comes at a painful time for Avicii’s legacy. On New Year’s Eve, Netflix released Avicii – I’m Tim, a deeply personal documentary chronicling the dance music legend’s life, struggles, and musical genius. Owning a piece of a late artist’s history is akin to holding onto a piece of a moment that defined the golden age of EDM and celebrated the genius of one of its most beloved artists.
The duffel bag and bathrobe are currently up for bidding on eBay.
