“Dreema” wins Sanabel Social Responsibility Award for orphan care in GCC
Manama, January 18 (QNA) – Dreama Orphan Care Center has been awarded the 2024 Sanabel Prize for Corporate Social Responsibility in the orphan care sector across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The award was presented at a ceremony in Bahrain attended by many institutions from the Gulf countries.
Sheikha Nazira bint Ahmed Al-Thani, Executive Director of Orphan Care Center (Dreema), said that receiving such a prestigious award is a great motivation for the center’s commitment to providing the best care to orphans. He said it would be an evaluation. She emphasized that this award is a testament to their commitment to creating a safe and stable environment for orphans and enabling them to build a bright future.
Sheikha Nazira also said that this achievement marks the beginning of a new phase of continuous giving. The center is committed to developing programs and services that better meet the needs of the children it serves.
He further said that this recognition was the result of a collaborative effort and that the award at this major Gulf forum recognized the Center’s pioneering role in the field of orphan care across the GCC. This also helps inspire the Dreama team to continue to grow in order to achieve our vision of strengthening social inclusion and empowering children at all levels.
The Sanabel Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in Orphan Care Facilities in the GCC is an initiative of Sanabel Orphan Care Association, Bahrain.
