MOI holds regular forum for people with disabilities
Doha, January 15 (QNA) – The Department of Disability Affairs of the Ministry of Interior’s Personnel Department held a two-day regular forum for persons with disabilities at the Civil Defense Officers’ Club. The event was attended by approximately 100 male and female employees of the Ministry of Interior.
In this regard, Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Abdullah Mohamed, MOI Personnel Department Technical Directorate and Head of the Disability Affairs Department, said that this forum was the start of the Department’s 2025 Plan to Address Functional and Developmental Needs. He said it is part of the next plan. Stresses the importance of increasing the number of disabled employees in the Department and providing them with opportunities to empower and develop their skills and competencies in order to contribute to the achievement of the Department’s strategy; interior.
This forum aims to present the annual rehabilitation and training plan for people with disabilities, discuss development proposals and provide an opportunity to strengthen communication mechanisms with people with disabilities and participate in the included activities.
