The winner of the Marumi 2025 Youth Shooting Championship has been decided.
Doha, January 11 (QNA) – Held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Joan bin Hamad Al-Thani and with the support of the Social and Sports Contribution Fund (DAAM), the event is aimed at children aged 14 to 21. The Youth Shooting Championship, which is open to all, opened on Saturday the 16th. Edition of the International Falconry and Hunting Festival (Malmi 2025).
Commenting on the event, Mr. Ahmed bin Mubarak Al Kuwari, Director of the Marmi 2025 Shooting Championship, said that the annual participation in the Marmi Festival is an important milestone, especially considering the important global achievements of the Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation. The aim is to promote shooting as a sport in the community, he said, adding: The festival also serves as an opportunity to discover talent.
Al Kuwari said the shooting championship is divided into three categories. One was held today for young people. One is for the general public over 20 years of age. The other competition, for professional shooters registered with the Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation, will be held on January 25th. He added that the organizing committee has allocated valuable prizes to each competition.
