Ministry of Municipalities and Hassad Food Company will hold “Honey Exhibition” tomorrow as part of Umm Salal Winter Festival
Doha, January 08 (QNA) – The Ministry of Municipalities, represented by the Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with Hassad Food Company, announced the opening of the “Honey Exhibition” on Thursday as part of the Umm Salal Winter Festival. The exhibition will be held at Umm Salal Central Market until Saturday, January 18, 2025.
This exhibition aims to highlight the excellent quality of local honey products and support national farms specializing in beekeeping and high-quality honey production. It also serves as an important platform for farmers to market their products while raising public awareness about the importance of honey as a natural and healthy resource.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a variety of Qatari honeys, enjoy tastings and learn about modern beekeeping techniques and innovations. The exhibition highlights our commitment to sustainable agriculture by supporting local farms that contribute to the growth of the local agricultural sector.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Yousef Khalid Al-Khraifi, Director of the Agriculture Department of the Municipality Ministry, said: “The honey exhibition is an important step in supporting local farmers and celebrating the quality of their products. Through this exhibition, We aim to encourage investment.” Increase local production in the field of beekeeping and contribute to economic growth and achieving self-sufficiency. ”
