Princess Beatrice is set to step up for the Royal Family as she prepares to travel to Switzerland despite previous health warnings not to travel long distances while pregnant.
The Princess of York, who is due to welcome her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in June, will join Rachel Reeves and Angela Merkel at this year’s annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Public figures from across the world will also attend the 2025 World Economic Forum, set to take place from 20 January to 24 January.
Beatrice is expected to attend a talk on a panel, according to The Times.

The publication reported that the royal will be “looking at how private capital from family offices and sovereign wealth funds can be used to tackle climate change”.
The King can call upon the Counsellors of State, which is made up of the royals who in the line of succession and over the age of 21, if the monarch cannot undertake official duties.
In practice, only working Members of the Royal Family are called upon to act as Counsellors of State.
However, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice are listed on the Royal Family’s official website despite not being official working royals.

They appear alongside the Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Princess Royal and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Beatrice was supported by her sister Princess Eugenie for the event last year.
Eugenie took part in a panel discussion in Davos alongside former British Prime Minister Theresa May to raise awareness about modern slavery, a project Beatrice’s youngest sister is particularly passionate about.
This year’s trip follows medical advice received by the Princess of York against long-distance travel during her pregnancy, forcing Beatrice to change her Christmas plans.

The 36-year-old, who is currently pregnant with her second child, had originally planned to spend the festive period overseas with her husbands, Edoardo Mapili Mozzi’s, parents.
The royal baby will be a sibling for their three-year-old daughter Sienna and Edoardo’s eight-year-old son Wolfie, Beatrice’s stepson.
Following the medical advice, Beatrice spent Christmas alongside King Charles and other senior members of the Royal Family at Sandringham estate.
The Duke and Duchess of York missed the celebrations, opting to stay at their residency at Royal Lodge.
Eugenie was also absent as she spent the holidays with her in-laws.
