Police make a number of arrests, as seen in the videos below, after trouble before MK Dons v AFC Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon.
Two clips have been posted on social media, with both getting thousands of views and hundreds of comments reacting to what had happened.
Dean Wilkes (@RoloDeclares) said: “Me and my brother are not MK scum fans. We are AFC Wimbledon fans and we got stuck in a MK police kettle back to the station. We tried to leave the kettle but the police wouldn’t let us ‘for our safety’. We forced our way out the kettle and they did this to us. Absolute joke.”

The game itself saw MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon share the points after a 0-0 draw in a League Two fixture of few clear-cut chances at Stadium MK.
MK Dons Head Coach Scott Lindsey said, per CitiBlog: “I thought we were outstanding. We deserved to win it. I thought we were brilliant and I really liked us today. I felt it before the game in the meeting.
“We were defensively really strong, obviously with our addition, and we played so well. First 25 minutes, we were outstanding – best we’ve played. Of course, they’re going to have a spell in the game – they’re a good side that are in the play-off positions for a reason and they had a spell, kind of, towards the end of the second half.
“But I think that’s going to do so much for us as a football club, that performance, based on needing to turn a corner today. I’m really disappointed we didn’t win it. I really wanted to win it and think we looked like the team that wanted to win it the most, and thought we were brilliant.”
On Nathan Thompson: “He’s an incredible signing for the football club, I’ll tell you that now. We’ve worked really hard to get him. I’ve known Nathan a long time – I worked with him many years ago, 2015, when he was at Swindon and I was one of the coaches there, and he’s incredible in terms of defensive prowess.
“Outstanding performance by him but also, in the locker room, he’s a real culture setter and one of the best I’ve seen. I think he’s an amazing signing for the football club and I think the fans could see out there today how good he is.”
Lindsey added: “I think the big reason why we keep a clean sheet today is because of Nathan Thompson. He just organises and you can hear him talking throughout the game to both centre halves either side and Jay Williams in front. We crunch the pitch better.
“I think when you’ve got that older head at the back, it calms you down on the ball. So he’s a big reason.”
On AFC Wimbledon making it difficult: “I think sometimes you’ve got to give the opposition a bit of credit.
“Sometimes you play against teams that are just very good at defending in the box. I do know our xG would be higher than theirs, which it hasn’t been in the last six or seven games, and I was really keen to get our xG differential in a strong position today because the more you do that, the more likely it is you win games.
“I think everyone in the stadium could clearly see that we were on it and we were at it today. We worked harder than them and we did everything we could to win that game of football today. I think that’s what I want the fans to feel – that we have a group of players willing to go through the pain barrier for that to happen. We just couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net but I thought the performance was top class.”
AFC Wimbledon boss Johnnie Jackson said: “It would have been nice to score right at the end – you’d have seen some scenes over in the corner!” said Johnnie.
“We had great support, we’d have liked to have given them a bit more goal mouth action, but what they’ve seen there is a proper Wimbledon performance – resilient, with a never say die attitude, where we fought for the badge. All of that was on show.
“I hope they’re happy with that, recognise that’s a good point for us and another one on the tally.”
On a strong starting line-up, including the returns of defender Joe Lewis and forward Omar Bugiel, who were subbed of: “They’re both tired, which is why we brought them off. I probably didn’t expect them to get through the ninety minutes. I just felt that with a game like this and having them available that we’d get the best out of them.”
On a top of the table clash at Crewe looming on Tuesday night, Johnnie added: “I’m going to need everyone in this period – I’m going to need all my players. Physically, this will have taken a lot out of them, because they had to dig in.”
“This game is something different” 😤

Adebayo Akinfenwa explained the rivalry between MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon to Sky Sports: “I mean, to be fair, because I played for a AFC Wimbledon. I can’t even call MK and finish it because they just call him MK. Like like, it’s a it’s a real grudge and you you don’t really know until you get involved.
“And I won’t, I won’t lie, man. I’m not really a fan of the MK fans, you know, and I’ve gotta say that, you know. And, you know, I’m a lover. I’m not a fighter. But, yeah, man.
“It’s a proper game. It should be a good game today still.”
David Prutton: “Do you think as well that really does change the build that we talk about, Darby, is we talk about teams and fierce rivalries? It changes the mentality and the emotion, doesn’t it, of that particular game? It’s not a run of the mill league fixture for them.”
Akinfenwa: “Yeah. It’s not. It’s not. And listen, we’ve all played the game. We’ve all played, football in regards where derbies are derbies, and, you know, you sometimes say, look, play the game and not the atmosphere.
“But this game is different. It is. It’s really, I’m talking about the passion for the AFC Wimbledon fans. It is unlike any game I’ve been involved with.
“And when we played and we’ve managed to beat them, you see the way the fans take you. And I know derby wins and derby wins. But for me, I just think this game is something different.”
