A Turkish journalist claims he was assaulted by Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen outside an Istanbul nightclub on Thursday night.
The incident began when Posta Reporter Tolga Bozduman and some colleagues photographed Osimhen while he was leaving with a group of friends.
The Nigeria International is said to have reacted furiously after noticing the flash of a camera going off and approaching Bozdaman before attempting to snatch the camera.
Then Bozdaman fell into conflict with Osimhen. Osimhen hurled insults at journalists and offered money to destroy the film.
“I photographed Osimhen at the door with three colleagues. When the flash went off, all hell broke loose,” Bozdaman said.
“He ran towards me and screamed. He tried to take my camera away from me, but I didn’t let him. The punch he threw hit me in the head. The right side still hurts.
“Then he started swearing. Then he offered, ‘Destroy the footage and I’ll give you the money.’ When I refused he threatened me saying “I’ll ruin you”.
Aslan has not yet issued a statement on the matter as it prepares for a Superrig clash with Konyaspor on Friday evening.
