NASA and the Peruvian Aerospace Commission (CONIDA) are investigating and collaborating on a scientific basis in Peru, bases of different durations that enable different activities.
Ambos will support Memorando de Entendimiento’s vinculante queries, including security capacity, fact-checking related to possible campaigns, and assistance to CONIDA and Lanzamientos de Cojetes Sonda. Los cojetes sonda son pequeños cojetes de bajo cost que proporcionan acceso suborbital al espacio.

Peru and Unidos have a strong history of cooperation. LA NASA has joint activities at Llan Samiento Station, Punta Lobos de CONIDA, in 1975 and 1983.
