After setting a world attendance record for a women’s hockey game, the Montreal Victoire will return to the Bell Centre to try and match it. On Thursday, it was announced that the Victoire will host the Boston Fleet at the downtown Montreal arena on March 1.

The game will take place at 2:00 p.m and should be expected to match the sell out crowd of 21,105 that saw Toronto beat Montreal in overtime last April.
Montreal and Boston previously had some historic matchups in the short history of the PWHL. Montreal played its first home game against the Fleet, and of course the two teams met in a best-of-five PWHL semi-final. The Victoire were swept in three games, but all games went to overtime.
So far this season, Montreal and Boston have played two times. Montreal defeated the Fleet at Place Bell, and the two teams faced off in Seattle during the PWHL’s Takeover Tour with Boston winning that game in a shootout.
The Victoire are currently in first place in the league while Boston is in fifth spot.
