Mohamed Salah kept the pressure on Liverpool this afternoon with a tweet featuring three big-name players whose contracts expire at the end of the season.
Salah’s tweet contained no words, simply a photo of himself, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk, all three of whom are set to leave Anfield in June. .

Salah’s choice of photo is unlikely to be a coincidence as he continues to publicly pursue a new deal to stay on Merseyside.
Salah said: “There is no progress.”
The usually media-shy Egyptian has repeatedly raised the fact that no deal has yet been reached and said again last week that he plans to step down within five months.
“There’s no progress there,” he told Sky Sports about the prospect of a contract extension. “We are far from making any progress, we just have to wait and see.
“In my mind, if this is the past six months, what do I want to see in the future? Do you look back and say, ‘I was feeling anxious and stressed about the contract?’
“Or do you just want to say, ‘We had an unbelievable season?’” That’s what’s on my mind. When I get distracted, I tell myself I want to look back and say it was an incredible season. ”
another trophy
Salah said he wants to win another trophy during his time at Liverpool, with the 32-year-old scoring one of his goals from the penalty spot in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United yesterday.
“My motivation this year was to win trophies and to make a big contribution to winning them, especially in the Premier League,” added Salah, referring to the squad assembled by Arne Slott’s predecessor Jurgen Klopp. He spoke about winning trophies such as the Champions League in the 2018/19 season. And the 2019/20 Premier League.
“There’s still half of the team left – me, Trent, Virgil, Alisson and Robbo (Andy Robertson). We need to win one more trophy before we all leave.”
