Meghan Markle is gearing up for a major 2025, thanks to the buzz around her upcoming Netflix cooking series, With Love, Meghan, as well as the launch of her long-awaited lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard. While the Duchess of Sussex is busy juggling these major professional ventures, she also secretly made time to relaunch a past project. Eagle-eyed fans believe that Markle’s Archetypes podcast might be making a reappearance this year after spotting a clue in an Instagram post.
Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewell Audio company previously debuted their podcast–which had the Suits actress as a host “investigate, dissect, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back”–as part of a $25 million deal with Spotify. After having a star-studded roster of guests like Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, and Serena Williams, the podcast was abruptly canceled after a 12-episode run in July 2023.
At the time, Markle and Prince Harry released a joint statement saying, “Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.” While Markle quietly signed the podcast with Lemonada Media in 2024, she has stayed mum on announcing any new updates with the project.
However, Lemonada Media hinted that new episodes of Archetypes were in the works as they shared a preview of their upcoming podcast roster earlier in the week.
“We are SO Back!” they captioned the collage, which included a photo of Markle’s Archetypes in a medley of podcasts. “With new episodes of Fail Better, Boneheads, Pop Culture Debate Club AND MORE coming out this week, which podcast are you excited to listen to this week? Let us know in the comments below!”
While Lemonada Media didn’t reveal whether Archetypes would be part of this week’s new episodes launch, fans were quick to take to the comments section to express their excitement. As one person wrote, “Our Duchess has been working HARD,” summing up the royal’s comeback in 2025 after a “quiet” year.
“As far as Meghan being quiet, she’s been in the background working on her entrepreneurial efforts,” an industry source previously told Page Six, revealing that both the “the Netflix project and her brand” will “come out within the same timeline in the New Year.”
“She’s spent the majority of the year doing work behind the scenes to launch a project in the first few months of 2025,” they added.
