Najib Mikati made the call during a meeting in Beirut with Amos Hochstein, the US special envoy for the Middle East, Lebanese state news agency reported.

The Lebanese Prime Minister highlighted the violation of the ceasefire by the Zionist regime. It reiterated the call for an end to continued attacks on southern cities, systematic destruction of homes and infrastructure, and violations of Lebanese airspace.
Foreign Minister Mikati said that talk about the continuation of these violations and the Israeli regime’s intention to extend the ceasefire is highly unacceptable, adding that the countries that supported the conclusion of the ceasefire agreement and whatever committee responsible for monitoring its implementation should be held accountable.
