King Charles will travel to Poland later this month to attend a commemoration service marking 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.
The service will be held at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial on January 27th.
During his visit, His Majesty will meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda.
The King will also spend time meeting members of the local community in Krakow before attending the commemorations.

This upcoming visit marks King Charles’s fifth journey to Poland.
His previous visits include a 2008 trip accompanied by The Queen when The Duchess of Cornwall, and a 2010 visit during a broader European tour.
Last week, King Charles and Queen Camilla relocated to the Scottish Highlands following their Christmas celebrations at Sandringham in Norfolk.
The Court Circular confirmed the monarch’s presence at Balmoral Castle last week, where the royal couple enjoyed a period of downtime.

The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene church with their three children, joining Charles and Camilla before the King’s speech broadcast.
While the late Queen Elizabeth II traditionally remained at Sandringham until February 6 to mark the anniversary of her father’s death, Charles and Camilla have chosen a different approach.
The royal couple opted to spend part of their winter break in Scotland.

The King, 76, is set to resume public duties on Monday at Buckingham Palace.
He will host three organisations dedicated to educating future generations about the Holocaust.
Charles maintains his Scottish residence Birkhall, which he inherited from the Queen Mother in 2002.
The historic Balmoral Castle serves as another Scottish residence for the monarch.
