Katie Price and Kerry Katona could be back on our screens very soon—but this time, together.
The reality TV icons are longtime friends, initially growing close during their I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! stints in 2004.
Former Atomic Kitten pop star Kerry, 44, was even a bridesmaid just one year later when Katie, 46, married Peter Andre.
Fast forward to now, and the two have been performing on stage together in pantomime, starring as the wicked step-sisters in a production of Cinderella at the Northwich Memorial Court in Cheshire.
It’s believed their fantastic chemistry has captured the attention of TV execs, who are now said to be eyeing them up for their own programme.
‘Katie and Kerry are thick as thieves since starring in panto and moving in together during the show’s run,’ a source told The Sun.
‘They have loved working together, and everyone has raved about how funny they are as a double act.’
Katie and Kerry are thought to be ‘keen to do some TV projects together’.
The insider claims they have already ‘been in talks with various broadcasters.’
‘No deal has been done yet, but it’s only a matter of time,’ the mole added.
‘They’re both TV gold on their own, so together it will be unmissable viewing.’
Of course, neither Katie nor Kerry is a stranger to letting cameras in to document the highs and lows of their life.
Both began starring in their own reality shows in the 2000s, with Katie appearing in Jordan (2002–2005), Katie & Peter (2004–2009), Signed by Katie Price (2011), Katie (2011–2012), and Katie Price: My Crazy Life (2017–2020).
While Kerry had her own documentary series on MTV UK, she’s also appeared on the likes of Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing On Ice, both in 2011, plus Celebs on the Farm in 2021.
Since their panto run began over the festive period, Katie and Kerry have also teased returns to music for both of them.
Katie wrote on social media alongside a photo from rehearsals: ‘25 years of friendship and our first show together after the jungle. Me and Kerry have smashed box office sales. Wait for our new single.’
In a separate post, Kerry also celebrated their ’25 years of friendship’ and teased that a debut single from the new duo would be ‘on its way’.
Their friendship has surely only strengthened in recent weeks, as the two moved in together during panto season.
The timing was seemingly perfect for Kerry in particular, who has been navigating her sudden split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney after six years.
Previously admitting that she was struggling to come to terms with the breakup, Kerry said on Instagram: ‘The main thing is I have amazing children, I have my health and I have the most wonderful and surprising friends around me for support.
‘I never thought 2024 would have ended like this. Never. But there you go.
‘To say I’m struggling is an understatement, but putting my best foot forward – or at least trying.’
Meanwhile, Katie is still in a relationship with Married At First Sight star JJ Slater.
The mum-of-five confirmed she was dating the reality TV contestant last February and are frequently hit with engagement rumours.
