Jennifer Garner Wears the Spanx Booty-Boosting Leggings I Love

Every Christmas, I fly back home to California—and this time, there was a fun surprise awaiting my arrival. Spanx graciously gifted me a wide assortment of its top-selling goodies for the holiday season. What can I say? It’s a perk of the job. But among Kylie Jenner-worn bras and Oprah-favorite sets, one piece called my name: the Booty Boost 7/8 Leggings.

I knew all about the stretchy pants well before they landed on my doorstep, since Jennifer Garner repeat-wears the leggings. Plus, my super cool InStyle counterpart raves about them, only further enticing me. Finally, they were mine; and they lived up to the hype.

I immediately slipped them on (I’m talking mere minutes after opening the package), and was instantly impressed by their slick feel. The pants felt buttery and luxurious, but despite the soft feel, it didn’t trap a million cat hairs. The 7/8 length was perfect for my under-5-foot frame, so I didn’t have to worry about any of that dreaded ankle scrunch. There’s also  a hidden pocket for my phone, keys, and lip balm in the waistband.

They had me feeling snatched, thanks to the stretchy, sculpting fabric. Convexed inseams enhanced my natural curves, a high-rise waistband shaped my stomach, and booty-lifting technology gave my bum the perfect boost. Spanx thought of it all, additionally eliminating the use of a center seam, making a camel toe a thing of the past.

Before you ask if they’re too tight, the answer is no. All of this shaping is done with medium compression, keeping the feel breathable and comfortable. I even spent all day with my family in the bottoms while eating a heaping plate of Hawaiian barbeque, downing a few glasses of champagne, and putting away some much-needed dessert. Up next on my list is to wear the leggings to a yoga class, where I’ll put their sweat-wicking capabilities to the test.
