Australian lock Jed Holloway has left Leicester Tigers for Major League Rugby side San Diego Legion.
The 32-year-old, who earned the first of his 12 Wallabies caps in 2022, made six appearances for Tigers across the Premiership and European Champions Cup since arriving on a short-term deal in November.
He made his first and only start for Leicester in their win against Ulster earlier in January, which ensured their qualification for the knockout stage of the continent’s biggest club competition.
The former NSW Waratahs and Munster forward’s commitment to move to the United States with San Diego was already in place before he joined Leicester earlier in the winter.
