Tottenham captain Son Heung-min talking to PLP: “Breaking down or scoring goals is always hard but when it is the day it doesn’t happen it is always more frustrating. We were frustrated and made the wrong decisions. It is painful.
“I can’t stand here and talk about other games, I’ve done that a lot and the injuries, some situations haven’t been understood by people how I wanted. I’ve played more games than I expected, but that is our job. Mentally we just have to refresh and get ready and go again. I know it can be tough. When you get wins you can get better feelings, but it is harder after today. It is very tough at the moment.
“It is painful. It’s happened a few times already this season. It feels like scoring games is so hard but conceding goals is way too easy. I haven’t seen them back yet but it is a lack of concentration, definitely, and a bit of sloppiness. We knew they were going to come. We’re going to have to sit down and talk about what went wrong.”
On whether Spurs could end up in a relegation battle: “It is definitely not good enough. We’ve had way too many losses, but there are still a lot of games remaining and we’ll have a lot of players back. We’re not talking about anything, we just play each game and try and get three points.”

@TalkTHFC__: #AngeOut #LevyOut
@SixFootTwo: Be patient with Ange, he just needs more time, couple more seasons at least!
@leedownes1979: I think it’s over for Ange now. I really wanted it to work for him but he’s just been let down so badly by the board that he literally has no moves left to make. No players in speaks volumes about how Levy feels about us as a football club – we’re purely a venue for him.
@LadyJakes2: The board are an embarrassment for not providing support to the team when they most need it. Levy is a brilliant financial manager but there it ends. Total disgrace board allowing the team and fans to suffer like this, no quality recruits. Other clubs buying. Same story. 😔
@7ord4n_: Fans have enabled this for years on end. They reap what they sow. Belittled anyone who wanted ownership gone, everything else Levy has been spot on but the football side he’s been the worst for many years. Fans should want owners gone before another manager comes in🤷🏻♂️ #THFC
@badamsufl: I’m still Ange In, I think we have a much better shot to turn it around with him over Mason with Romero/VDV hopefully back in next week or 2. Regardless of what happens we know one thing. Ange will win next place he goes and we will be looking for a new manager in 18 months #COYS
@JamieStirling7: I truly believe Ange is a good manager who will be successful elsewhere. I don’t believe the majority of the blame lies with him, it’s with Levy and ENIC. Despite that it’s hard to deny he is out of his depth while trying to work under this ownership. He has to go now #COYS
@matt_bamber: We all know #Levy is the main and most important problem @SpursOfficial However Ange is just isn’t the one from a football front! Injuries or not. Surely the club sack him tonight. At the end of the day, we can’t & don’t win league football matches! #COYS #Spurs
@winkleini: Just sit and wait for the corner flag post I guess 🤷♂️ Levy doesn’t care, ENIC don’t care & I’m not sure I do anymore! What a shambles from top to bottom. And we most definitely aren’t to good to go down.. bad times 😢 #COYS
