Jamie Foxx has been hospitalized in Georgia for nearly a week following an incident described as a “medical complication” by his daughter, according to a source familiar with the situation who spoke to UJ on Monday.
Corinne Foxx reported on Instagram last week that her father suffered a health scare last Tuesday, though she did not disclose specific details. In her post, she mentioned that thanks to “quick action and excellent care,” her father is “on the path to recovery.”
It was reported by UJ on Friday that Foxx was hospitalized and undergoing various medical evaluations.
Foxx has been in Atlanta shooting the Netflix film “Back in Action” alongside Cameron Diaz. A source previously informed UJ that the medical issue did not occur on the film set and that Foxx was not taken to the hospital by emergency services.
An additional source close to the film’s production told UJ on Friday that shooting is “currently ongoing” and is anticipated to conclude this week.
This source did not clarify if Foxx has any remaining scenes to film or when he might return to the set.
