The Jacksonville Jaguars’ return home from Indianapolis was delayed after a 26-23 loss to the Colts on Sunday due to a winter storm that raged on their trip across the central United States.
The team’s charter flight was delayed for seven hours, leaving players and staff on the plane on the tarmac at Indianapolis International Airport. The charter flight departed at 1 a.m. Eastern time.

Indianapolis was among the cities under a winter storm warning until Monday. The National Weather Service forecast calls for heavy snow at times in central Indiana, with accumulations of 2 to 5 inches, freezing drizzle and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
