At a meeting held in Geneva based on the monitoring mechanism of the UN Human Rights Framework, Galivady criticized him as “double standards” and “unfair mechanisms” in global human rights systems.
The conference, which was started by Iran, has linked a country that is subject to the political human rights mechanism.
Galivabdy, who led Iranian representatives to the 48th Universal Regular Review (UPR) Working Group, has expressed a strong criticism of selective approaches and political exploitation of human rights.
He states: “A country that claims to defend human rights imposes issues, such as sanctions and terrorism support, and violates the rights of large -scale people. Instead of being responsible, they are shameful human rights violations. It imposes a political mechanism that blame and puts further pressure.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the case in Gaza, “Tens of thousands of people were killed,” but the so -called human rights defender not only failed to act on the Israeli administration, but also supported it.
Galivady explained the imposition of political and unjust human rights mechanisms against developing countries as violations of interference with their domestic affairs and their sovereignty.
He added, “These political behaviors are from a country suffering from a wide range of human rights violations of themselves and other countries.”
Ambassador from other countries attending the session thanked Iran for holding a meeting. They expressed concerns about human rights misuse and explained that the existing surveillance mechanisms were effective, selective, and politically driven.
Prior to the meeting of the Human Rights Council held in March, the participants agreed to strengthen their adjustments. They have pledged to present and pursue unified collective status to compete with politically motivated approaches to human rights issues.
