Iran’s political approach is not based on “realism” but on an Islamic approach that places high values on keeping promises and agreements with the people. For example, God Almighty says, “Fulfill your promise, for you will be asked about it on the Day of Judgment.”
Martyr Said Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the Resistance Martyrs, also expressed this Islamic method: It will be! ”
Therefore, “honesty” is the method of Islamic governance. This “honesty” is one of the sources of Islamic power and governance system in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In the 1980s, when Eduard Shevardnadze, the foreign minister of the former Soviet Union, was visiting Iran with a letter to Imam Khomeini (RA), the founder of the Islamic Revolution, he refused to accept the letter and left the conference room. His guest is in the room. Of course, it was not that he did not want to show respect to his guests; rather, the late Imam Khomeini (RA) understood that the content of the letter undermined the country’s religious values.
In 2019, Islamic Revolution leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei took the same action as the late Imam Khomeini (RA) and published a letter from then US President Donald Trump brought by Japanese President Shinzo Abe. After receiving it, he said: I do not believe Mr. Trump is worthy of exchanging any messages and I have not and will not respond to him in any way! ”This is the attitude of Islam towards others. When Iran’s honored guest, martyr Ismail Haniyeh, was assassinated on Iranian soil, Islamic revolutionary leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized the importance of avenging his (martyr Hanyyeh’s) blood. . Because Islam supports guests and respects Muslim blood.
Therefore, the entire history of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and its relationship with the world reflects this value of “honesty”, which is considered one of the reasons for the victory of the Islamic Revolution and its continuation.
Islam values relationships with others and respects others in the governance of the country and in the government’s interactions with other countries. This method of governance is mentioned in the sublime statement of Imam Ali (AS) in his Covenant with the Governor of Egypt. Malik Ashtar (may Allah rest on him) said: “There are two types of people: either they are your brothers in religion, or they are similar to you in creation. By following this administrative advice of Imam Ali (AS), Muslim rulers can interact with others regardless of their ethnicity, religion, or appearance. On the other hand, God Almighty says in verse 58 of Surah Anfal: Not like a traitor. ”
So how could Muslims betray for any reason or under any circumstances?! The United States and Western countries deceived the Islamic Republic of Iran with a series of concessions and in return strategic support to regional resistance groups? asked me to give up. In response to these efforts, Imam Khamenei said: “Presence in regional affairs is our strategic depth. This in itself is a means of strengthening the regime. It is an instrument of power on the part of the regime. How can we give up this?
He also stressed that “not confronting the United States and other major powers to escape sanctions is a big mistake and a blow to political power.”
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, also rejected changes in relations between Iran and Russia due to Western sanctions against Russia, and emphasized that Iran would uphold the principles of the Islamic Revolution in its relations with the world.
Despite the severity of sanctions against Iran and its people, this country (Iran) continues to support all resistance groups in Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Palestine, and Syria. The costs of this support are dangerous and severe. Because it is a confrontation with the global arrogance displayed by the United States, Israel, the Western powers, and their mercenaries in the region. When the world media mentions the resistance group’s name, they add the phrase “with the support of Iran.” All resistance groups also explicitly announce this support and their sources.
Media outlets hostile to the Palestinian-Islamic issue claim that Iran has abandoned former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and failed to support the defense of Damascus in recent events. This is just an illusion. Because, first, regime change in Syria is not in the interests of Iran and Hezbollah. And regardless of how Bashar and his government have acted in recent events, they used to be supporters of Iran. Despite the harsh sanctions imposed on the resistance and Hezbollah, they preserved their Syrian weapons and organizations.
Former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad did not accept countries that were friendly to the Zionist regime and were normalizing relations, nor did he abandon the resistance and Iran. Of course, it goes without saying that Bashar al-Assad’s successor is nothing more than a terrorist, whether he cuts his beard or not. The second point in this regard is that Iran had previously advised Bashar al-Assad on the need for rebel participation in the government under the Astana Accords, but Bashar al-Assad has He believed that no one was worthy of joining the Astana Accords. government.
Undoubtedly, developments in Syria, planned in American and Zionist think tanks with Turkish assistance, changed the regional equation in favor of the United States and Israel, influencing the development and outcome of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. But the question is: Is Operation Al-Aqsa Storm over?
Enemies of the Islamic Ummah are planning to protect themselves from the consequences of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, but the axis of resistance has not yet laid down its arms and the road is still long and the capabilities and potential of the resistance forces has been observed. The Zionist enemies have been under attack by the Resistance for nearly a year, the military bases of the criminal Zionist regime are still threatened, and the weapons of the Resistance are still in the hands of the Resistance Front. None of us abandons our friends or placates our enemies about them.
