30-year-old Chinese woman.
43-year-old French woman.
12-year-old French boy.
The 12-year-old French boy was the deceased woman’s son.
The investigation into the case is still ongoing, and a number of technical and tactical investigative steps have been carried out so far. The police have secured video material from the bus that shows the accident. The police cannot go into details about what this video shows at this time, as the material must be analyzed against other investigative material. Part of this work will be obtaining weather data for the area in question, where the police will obtain an expert assessment in order to, if possible, be able to say something about the prevailing conditions at the scene when the accident occurred.
It is still too early to say anything about the cause of the accident, as there is extensive material to be reviewed and external reports, including from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s accident group, are still pending.
