Squid Game is a dystopian Netflix series where children’s schoolyard games literally become a matter of life and death – not exactly what you might call good, wholesome fun.
However, many of the games featured in the hit South Korean series are versions of traditional Korean games, most of which can be played at home – from hopscotch, marbles and tug-of-war to those less recognisable to western audiences, like Ddakji and Biseokchigi.
