Doha, April 30 (QNA) – Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will tomorrow launch a new night care system at its outpatient care centers for high-demand specialties.
Clinics that provide night care include ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, urology, and audiology.
HMC says the service will allow patients to receive specialized care faster, with more specialties being added at a later stage in the coming weeks.
Nasser Al Naimi, Deputy Director of Quality at the Center for Patient Experience and Staff Engagement and Director of the Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, said the new night clinic will be used over the next three months to reach more than 10,000 patients across 481 night clinics. He explained that he plans to provide services to Appointments to these clinics have been expedited.
To improve patient access to outpatient services, Dr. Al Naimi applied advanced methodologies to the referral and appointment management system to reduce appointment wait times and improve clinic delivery across all HMC facilities. He pointed out that the usage has improved.
He added that further improvements will be implemented to ease access to healthcare.
