To make it easier for citizens to travel in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), the Hong Kong Observatory has released new versions of “MyObservatory” (iOS 7.9, Android 5.11, Huawei 5.11). In addition to local weather information, GBA weather information has been added, making it possible to easily check real-time weather observations, current warnings, and forecast information for more than 50 districts in the remaining 10 cities in GBA on “MyObservatory.” . Through the positioning feature, users can access the latest weather information for a particular district within the GBA at any time, helping them prepare for their daily activities and travel plans.
The newly introduced GBA weather information is sourced from the “Meteorological Website for GBA” jointly developed by Hong Kong Observatory, Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Bureau and Macau Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau to support the development of GBA.

The Greater Bay Area Weather page in MyObservatory provides real-time weather observations (including temperature, relative humidity, hourly rainfall, wind direction, and wind speed), active local alerts, 7-day weather forecasts, and 3 Provides daily weather forecast. -Hourly forecast information.
