Federal banking regulators and the San Francisco Fed and Chicago Fed will host the 2024 National Interagency Community Reinvestment Conference from March 4-7 in Portland, Oregon.
The biennial conference provides attendees the opportunity to learn about the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and discuss best practices, innovations, and emerging challenges in community development with experts from across the country.
The 2024 program will focus on the agency’s new CRA rules and include regulator-led sessions on the rules and panel discussions on community development policies and activities. Pre-conference tours of local community development organizations and projects will be held.
The meeting will also feature a panel discussion with Michael J. Barr, Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Martin J. Gruenberg, FDIC Chairman, and Michael J. Hsu, Acting Superintendent of the Currency. The panel discussion will be streamed live here.
