Kafka won the last three coaching cycle interviews, especially after his first season in New York ended with a split round to Philadelphia. The Giants have been combined to 9-25, which has been in the past two years.
“There is a reason that these teams continue to interview him for head coaching,” Shane said. “He has a great reputation not only in our building but also around the league.”
While Kafka was coaching, he said that his agent and family kept him stay in the news, so he could keep focusing on practice. Kafka called the New Orleans interview “a great experience.”
“The most important thing is when you go to those interviews, you are just yourself,” Kafka said. “You will present your plan with confidence. We will look into as many details as possible and really give a good perspective on how to handle things.”
