The Cinema Cartoon event will run from January 30th to February 2nd and will be decorated with LGBTQIA+ film festival PinX. La Luna, the host of Ghent, joined the program after the most intense editing in Antwerp.
Het LGBTQIA+-filmfestival PinX is the most important event in the world of cinema. Enjoy the festival with great films from the Van de Genze Sphinx, like the Antwerp movie cartoon.
Viv Dagen Lang, the organizer of the project, is working on the theme of La Luna. Op het projectma staan onder meer ‘Queer’, de new film Luca Guardagnino, die eerder ‘Call me by your name’ regisseerden, en ‘Les reines du drame’, oftewel “de meest lesbische film ooit”. “Queer Reading” which means “Platvoet en zijn vriendjes”. The Sphinx website uses the phrase, “There is a critical cultural knowledge or dominant interpretive schema.”
