FARGO — If you’re looking for something fun and new to do with the kids during Halloween, there are plenty of events happening in the Fargo and Moorhead areas.
For the first time, Essentia Health’s pediatric team will host a “trunk-or-treat.”
Trunks will be filled with candy and prizes at Essentia’s 32nd Street store, 3000 32nd Ave. S., Fargo, on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Vote for your favorite trunk decoration and play games. Allergy-friendly options are also available in teal candy buckets.
Costumes are highly recommended, so be prepared for lots of photo ops.
“Our mission here at Essentia is to make healthy changes in people’s lives, and we know that, especially in pediatrics, sometimes we have to meet people where they are in the community. “It’s also a fun opportunity for some friendly competition between our departments at the hospital,” said Dr. Stephanie Grondahl, pediatric hospitalist at Essentia Health.
The first 50 children will receive a free Essentia Health tote bag for all candy and prizes.
