The 2024 Canadian Birkie Ski Festival was truly one for the books.
The El Niño weather phenomenon may have posed a challenge for Birkie Saturday, but it failed to deter the enthusiasm of over 190 individuals who eagerly embraced the winter spirit by participating in this year’s Virtual Canadian Birkie!
We are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2024 Virtual Birkie Photo Contest, who have collectively won $900 worth of prizes. Each winner’s creativity and passion were evident in their submissions, bringing an extra touch of excitement to this special virtual event.
Nine teams also competed for the Virtual Most KM Skied Award. Congratulations to the winning team Chilly Flakes who with 11 members completed 269 km. This is the second year in a row team Chilly Flakes has completed the most km’s as a team.
