Brandi Glanville revealed a scary medical theory about her facial swelling.
The 52-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum claims her doctor told her it could be caused by “parasites flying around my face.”
Dr Glanville posted a photo of his disfigured face on X, formerly known as Twitter, and said other doctors assumed it was “stress-induced edema”.

“Personally, I think this is Bravo,” said Caroline Manzo, who claimed Glanville groped her in an off-screen episode of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip. She has denied the accusations, adding that there is an ongoing battle surrounding the incident.
Glanville said on social media that she has spent nearly all her money trying to find out what caused the swelling and has been in and out of hospital for the past 12 months.
“What’s up?” she posted. “I wish I had known that for the past year and a half, I’ve been in and out of the hospital and spent almost all my money trying to figure it out. Some doctors say I have parasites flying around my face. Stress. Some say it’s due to edema. Personally, I think this is bravo.”

She initially posted a photo of her deformed face with just the words “Horrible!” The post prompted messages from concerned fans.
One person wrote, “Brandi, you were beautiful and this can’t be real.”
Another woman added: “This seems like some kind of allergic reaction to something…her eyelids are swollen. Fillers don’t do that. People can be very rude.”
The reality TV star said in July that her disfigurement had left her “miserable and depressed” and suggested stress was to blame. “Take care, guys, thank you Bravo. I can’t work at this point even if I wanted to,” she added.

When the medical issues first came to light in October 2023, officials suggested the drama surrounding allegations of sexual misconduct may have been the culprit. Glanville has repeatedly denied the allegations.
