Beyoncé reportedly earned a huge payday for her halftime performance as part of Netflix’s NFL Christmas Day doubleheader, taking home $20 million for the 13-minute musical extravaganza.
Along with special guests Shabouzi, Post Malone, and her 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, Beyoncé stood on the field at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston, midway through the Ravens’ victory over the Texans.
It is just a report that Beyoncé makes more than $1 million per minute for her time on Netflix, and has not been confirmed by either the streaming network or the “Cowboy Carter” singer.
The $20 million figure came from social media, with some claiming that the staggering figure is part of a larger deal between Beyoncé and Netflix.
The 43-year-old star signed a three-project deal with the streaming giant in 2019, with two-thirds reportedly completed.
The first part was a documentary showing her performance at Coachella in 2019, where she earned $20 million.

Although this number is unconfirmed, it means Beyoncé earns more than $1 million per minute on stage.
Currently, the second part earns her two-thirds of her contract income. It’s unclear what the final part of her $60 million deal will be, but some may not mind an encore of Netflix’s next NFL spectacle.
Beyoncé’s halftime show during the Texas vs. Ravens game was canceled by music mogul and disgraced rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl at the venue, and by her husband Jay-Z. It was also her first performance since she was accused of rape. MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in New York in 2000.
Jay-Z has strongly denied the allegations, and a lawyer for Diddy, who is currently in prison awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and trafficking of prostitutes, also denied the charges.
This was his first performance since he last took the stage in October 2023 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri to conclude his highly successful Renaissance World Tour.
Beyoncé’s Christmas show was her third major halftime show at an NFL game.
She was the solo headliner at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show and appeared as a special guest with Bruno Mars at Coldplay’s Super Bowl show three years later.
