Alright we are back for another ski season, and one of the most common questions I receive from the ski and snowboard community is: what are the best ski goggles for glasses? It’s a super valid questions. As someone who has worn glasses since 1997, I can tell you, the cost of prescription goggles are extremely high, and as our eyes change over the years, as does our prescription, so the investment, although great for a few years isn’t always the most cost efficient path to goggles.
Well, I’ve done my work, and found the best ski goggles for glasses that won’t break the bank and will keep you seeing on the slopes all day long!
Best Ski Goggles for Glasses
Falcon Cylindrical Zeiss Lens Ski Goggles
The Falcon Cylindrical Zeizz Lens is the largest of the Ski Gogles I’ll be reviewing. The benefit of the larger design is the ability to fit over most prescription glasses and are comfortable to wear all day long. There is no size of glasses limitation that I have seen.
These frameless design googles have an HD lens, which offer a level of smoothness and clarity that surpasses most ski goggles on the market.
The goggles come with a spare lens for overcast or night riding (which are easily changeable with the MagKlick. The goggles at UV400 Protection and have a VS Super Antifoging treatment.
Vision Goggles
The Vision Snow Goggles polarized and come with an OTG (Over the glasses) design that allows you to wear your glasses comfortably under the goggles. (Maximum size for glasses: Length: 5.3’’ Width: 1.65’’) They have the best helmet integration of all the googles I’ve tried (I’m also a women with a medium build face if that means anything).
The vision goggles have an extra wide field of view thanks to the Toric lens, Vision snow goggles combines the low distortion of the cylindrical lens and the wide field of view of the spherical lens, allowing you to see more, and see clearer. (Another bonus for the Over the Glasses Goggles!)
These polarized goggles for skiing can offer you UV400 protection from glare and eye fatigue. And like most Outdoor Master goggles come complete with a spare set of lenses for night or more overcast days of rising.
Ultra Goggles
The Ultra Goggles are my GO TO when it comes to goggles overall and with my huge glasses, and medium size women’s face, they are the best for my to use over my glasses. Toric Lens combines the low distortion of the cylindrical lens and the wide field of view of the spherical lens. 100% UV protection can filter UV rays and reduce visual fatigue. OTG Design allows you to wear your glasses comfortably under the goggles. (Maximum size for glasses: Length: 5’3” Width: 1’65”) My glasses are slightly larger than the recommended size, and they fit just fine!
The Ultra goggles come in a variety of VLT %, and always come with an extra lens in a higher VLT % for better visibility.
