Fights should never be occurring on the ski resort. If you’re somehow winding up in physical fights while on the slopes, you’re doing something very wrong. And yet some people are just unhinged like that.
In this recent incident, an older skier appeared to be holding down a snowboarder, potentially hitting the guy on the ground, when another snowboarder slams into the skier at full speed before throwing a few punches. Some people in the comments claim to have an idea of what happened, but it’s not definitive.
According to the comments, the first snowboarder slipped out while hitting a jump and collided with the skier in black. While the skier and snowboarder were handling the situation, the skier in blue came in and started yelling and pinning the snowboarder to the ground with his ski poles between his legs. The snowboarder attempted to push the skier away, and the skier responded by hitting and stabbing him with his poles.
That’s when the other snowboarder, watching this all go down, came in and tackled the blue jacket skier, throwing a few punches before separating. Apparently the skier in the blue jacket got his pass pulled, and both he and the original snowboarder filled out an incident report.
It sounds like, while he did hit the original skier, the original snowboarder was doing everything after the collision right, and the guy in the blue jacket just decided he needed to get involved. It’s not clear why, but apparently some people are just like that.
