Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury is one step closer to potentially taking place at Wembley Stadium this summer.
Eddie Hearn has revealed he wants Joshua to return to action in May or June and has booked Wembley for a potential megafight with Fury.
But Hearn admits it remains unclear what Fury wants to do after consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk.
Asked if a Wembley date was available if Fury wanted to fight Joshua, Hearn said: “Yes. We’re aiming to get back in the ring in May or June. If that means July. Even if it does, it doesn’t really matter.”

“I still think it’s Tyson Fury’s fault. Until the loss and what his mental state is and what he wants to do settles down, that’s where we’ll really find out.”
“Because when he weighed his options, what else is he going to do and who else is he going to fight?”
Joshua, who hasn’t fought since being knocked out by Daniel Dubois in September, posted a photo of Fury on his Instagram with the message: “Looking for this guy.”
Speaking at the Ring Awards, Hearn said: “Everything I’ve seen from AJ’s social media, especially in the last hour or so, has been very encouraging.
“He’s not really the type to criticize anyone, but obviously he’s criticizing him. He’s criticizing Tyson Fury.
“That’s the fight he wants. I keep saying there are two fights: Daniel Dubois or Tyson Fury.

“The world heavyweight title is what he (Joshua) wants, but of course it’s a fight that Fury has to land on Anthony Joshua’s resume.
“And obviously it must also be available to the British public.
“I think the real key in this is Tyson Fury. He’s only three weeks removed from his loss, but he’s probably still upset and reflecting on that loss. I think he wants a rematch. I have to see.”
