As the eagerly awaited biopic starring Timothée Chalamet arrives on the big screen, here are some of Dylan’s greatest hits (and a few missteps) over his career

It is almost impossible to overestimate Bob Dylan’s impact on popular culture. This weekend’s release of A Complete Unknown will burnish his legend yet more, with Timothée Chalamet playing the young Dylan who blazed a trail through the early 1960s folk scene before — thrillingly — plugging in his guitar and going electric.
The film showcases many of Dylan’s most celebrated songs from the era including, of course, Like a Rolling Stone, from which a key line gives the movie its title.
