290,4 миллиарда долларов составил внешний долг РФ на 1 января 2025 года. За год показатель снизился на $27,5 млрд, или на 8,7%, до минимума за 18 лет, сообщил Банк России. Сокращение было обеспечено снижением задолженности по суверенным ценным бумагам как в рублях, так и в иностранных валютах, а также уменьшением обязательств прочих секторов по привлеченным кредитам и займам, в том числе в рамках отношений прямого инвестирования. Сокращение обязательств прочих секторов в 2024 году оценивается в $13,3 млрд (на 7%, до $177,1 млрд), органов госуправления — в $13,9 млрд (на 42,5%, до $18,8 млрд), долговые обязательства ЦБ РФ и банков почти не изменились ($94,4 млрд).
